11 June 2009 This is not an update, just a short message. Immediately after I released the Bayon Kitchen I embarked on a rather big Real Life project. I have started my own business, and right now it is taking up almost every little bit of my time. This means I have neglected pretty much everything Sims related for the time being. Yes, I do have a couple of meshes that I fiddle with when I need some quiet time, but as for emails I have not had the time to read everything that is in my inbox, let alone reply. I have received a couple of very generous offers for hosting of the two houses that were lost recently. I very much appreciate these offers, but I simply haven't had time to consider what I prefer to do. At the moment, the best I can say is please remember that all my stuff is extremely fileshare friendly (EXCEPT for paysites, of course), so whoever would like to host or share anything around you are most welcome to do so. Finally, I'm not completely gone, and I will be back. Until then Happy simming Moune 2 May 2009 I know some of you have been waiting for today's update. But before we get to that I'd like to tell you about someone. All those who like the new Bayon sets really have one person to thank for them: Dagmar - or Daja as she is known over at Blacky's Sims Zoo. Last year she wrote to me to ask if I would make bookcases and dining furniture to match the Bayon Living set. It was such a good idea and gave me inspiration for what have since become a dining set, a bedroom, a nursery and now a kitchen. Apart from being a very generous soul who has been extremely kind to me, Dagmar is also a really good builder. So do go over to THIS THREAD at Blacky's and check out her creations. You will even find some special Bayon houses. And then: The Bayon Kitchen ![]() 10 new meshes with all the usual recolors. Find it all under 'New Meshes' - 'Kitchen' or click on the picture to go there directly. And since this will be the last Bayon set I have also made a 'TOTAL Bayon' collection file with all the Bayon objects. It is available on all Bayon mesh pages. But we aren't quite done yet. I figured the Bayon objects could use their own walls and floors, so I made a few. Some of them match better than others, but at least the wood textures are the same. ;-) ![]() Find them under 'Walls and Floors' or click on the picture to go there directly. Finally: If any of you have been trying to download the Monsoon and Scirocco houses you would have found that they had disappeared. This is because they were stored on an external file server and were recently - without notice and for no reason - deleted. I will try to find a new home for them, but it might take some time, so please have patience. And if anybody ever suggests that you upload your files to www.uploadingit.com DON'T listen to them! Hope you enjoy the new Bayon stuff. Happy simming Moune ![]() |
